For urgent cases (accidents, deaths, lost/stolen documents on the eve of an urgent return journey, etc. - no visas and no expired travel documents!) after working hours and during weekends, Belgians can reach the Embassy in Ankara or the Consulate General in Istanbul through their emergency number. Calls regarding an expired travel document will only be dealt with during office hours.
